Hello my gorgeous ladies,
Happy Happy New year 2017!! 🎊 🎉
Hope you had a blast celebrating as 2016 transformed into 2017 with lots of positive energy, hope, and goodwill!:) I still can’t get over the fact that it's 2017 already! Time sure does fly! So tell me, how are you all doing?
I have been waiting to write this post for quite some time now. I am super excited to tell you all about my outfit and the beautiful locations I visited over winter break. So I went on a mini vacation to Miami Florida after the end semester exams. We resided in South Beach throughout the stay and made one-day trips to different locations in and around Miami. I got some spectacular photos clicked at these various locations. And oh my God, I was so excited to shoot these pictures. I visited the Wynwood Art District, Pennekamp Coastal Reefs, Key Largo, Key West and the Everglades, but more on that later!
On our last day in Miami and we decided to go to Key Biscayne! 😍 🏖
We went to two locations starting with Cape Florida Lighthouse and then on to Crandon Park Beach. I checked Trip Advisor for ratings and these two happened to be crowd favorites. Both locations charge a one-time entry fee. ($8 for Cape Florida and $5 for Crandon Park).
The Lighthouse was amazing! 🏰 We parked a little earlier and walked straight on to the beach. Untouched and sparsely crowded, Cape Florida beach is ecstatic! Trying to find a way towards the Lighthouse entrance, we ended up reaching a dead-end. We quickly shot a few pictures and then got on the right track. Considering the fact that the Lighthouse is closed after 2:00 PM, we made it just in time.
After climbing the spiraling staircase, I got to see an awesome view of the beautiful blue beach. I clicked a number of photos, but I have to admit I was slightly nervous that I would drop my phone!
Keeping in mind that we need to check out Crandon Park Beach as well, we couldn't spend more time at the Lighthouse. ☹️
The second and the last location on my Miami Trip was Crandon Park Beach, and boy it doesn't disappoint at all! In fact, it's the best beach that I have visited till date! Clean waters, beautiful palm trees, and white sands make this location so mesmerizingly beautiful, that I felt like I had reached paradise! I changed into my Camilla dress and had some nice photos clicked! If you plan a trip to Miami, make sure you visit Key Biscayne and it's insanely beautiful locations, perfect weather, and wonderful beaches!
Camilla With Love
The look I am sharing with you today is very colorful, scintillating and vibrant that purely defines my life!
Keeping my obsession with black and white at bay, I'm getting back to my colors and prints with this elegant and sleek dress from Camilla. I won this dress by participating in a fashion contest organized by fashion and lifestyle blogger from SF Bay area, Jyotsna Shankar (@cuppajyo) via the HEED Fashion App.
I was so excited when I finally got my hands on this dress that I wasted practically no time in trying it out! Lol.
The dress looked so beautiful, that I was in love wth myself. 😅
'Camilla with love' is an Australian brand infused with vibrant color, digital print, bohemian detailing and intricate craftsmanship. All pieces are luxurious, individualistic and timeless. Crafted from a silk chiffon and crepe, this V-neck dress with split front gracefully falls over the body creating a flattering and feminine look.
The dress itself is so beautiful that I did not feel the need of accessorizing the outfit. I kept it super simple!
This dress has been inspired by the beauty of Africa in the Savannah. It's a very versatile dress and can be styled in different ways (Look at how I have tied it in the front and made it into a short dress and that’ll give you a completely different pattern; I will probably add more photos which describe all the different styles and looks sometime soon). Oh, and did I mention how much I adore the crystal embellishments on the neckline! I can seriously go on talking about this dress...
But for now, you all enjoy the pictures and definitely let me know what you think about this post in the comments down below!
