Do clothes make the woman? Do luxury brands decide your worth? And can you be a trendsetter only if you are a member of The Couture Club?
No! It is not what you wear, it is how you wear it and carry yourself! (Well, everyone has their own opinion and this is what I feel).
Sure anyone would love to own a Judith Leiber Couture handbag or a gorgeous Elie Saab gown. And honestly, I would love to perambulate in a pair of gorgeous Gucci sandals, well because Alessandro Michele is a pure genius! But is it too much ask that instead of spending a fortune on a Rolex watch, one should donate books or toys to an orphanage or provide food to those dying of starvation? (There is absolutely no harm if you can afford designer clothes, but also use that money to do something for someone in need).
Adriana Lima once said - "Be sure what you want and be sure about yourself. Fashion is not just beauty, it's about good attitude. You have to believe in yourself and be strong."
Here I am wearing a pair of Bohemian pants which I purchased only for Rs 300 (around $5) from Colaba Causeway (which is a famous street shopping destination in South Mumbai). Even though it is not branded, I feel great in them and treat them like a pair of Roberto Cavalli Flared Pants! 🤗
All I am trying to say is don't ever feel that you can be stylish only if you buy expensive clothes. 😌 Don clothes that make you happy and be confident no matter what you are wearing. If you are confident then you are definitely looking good and inspiring others!
Let me know what your personal opinions are!
Good vibes! 😇
(P.S - On a different note check out my belt (bought it for only 3 dollars!))
